Jonathan graduated from the European School of Osteopathy in 1994.  After initially practising osteopathy in central London, Jonathan moved to Sussex to consult patients for the National Health Service.

In 2010, he was employed as a Spinal Extended Scope Practitioner by University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in the Back Pain Assessment Clinic and Trauma and Orthopaedics department based in the local community and at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.   Following an extensive redesign of community and hospital based musculoskeletal services, Jonathan was employed as a Spinal Advanced Practitioner by Here in collaboration with Sussex MSK Partnership.

Jonathan joined University College London Hospitals in 2012 as Clinical Lead of the Musculoskeletal Medicine department at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine.   In 2018, Jonathan moved to Camden MSK, an integrated, community based, University College London Hospitals partnership that provides musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, treatment, advice, education and care planning throughout the London borough of Camden.
