Jonathan Hearsey has extensive experience in NHS service improvement, change management, healthcare regulation, and in non-executive board roles. He is particularly interested in evolving healthcare models that enhance engagement between patients and partnership organisations.
Jonathan is Clinical Director at Camden MSK, a University College London Hospitals led interface service. Camden MSK provides an integrated approach to musculoskeletal care, bringing together specialist assessment, treatment, and advice for people with musculoskeletal conditions. The service is designed to ensure patients receive the right care and seeing the right healthcare professional, at the right time – whether that involves physiotherapy, specialist clinical orthopaedic, rheumatology or spinal surgery input, diagnostics, or onward referral. As Clinical Director, Jonathan is responsible for the clinical leadership and development of the service, ensuring high standards of care, strong integration with hospital and community services, and a focus on delivering effective, patient-centred treatment close to home. Jonathan also provides system-wide development leadership for the Integrated Care Board, focusing on intervention across non-MSK care pathways.
Beyond his NHS commitments, Jonathan provides expert witness advice in fitness to practice cases and consults private musculoskeletal patients.
Jonathan has worked as a consultant for the Premier League, advising on health compliance and protection issues.
